Rutgers consists of 5 smaller campuses with each providing unique and different settings and landscapes; each mini-campus has full services and a student center. Rutgers consistently ranks among the top-25 public universities.

Rutgers University offers a large variety of degrees across its rigorous schools and colleges to its more than 33,000 undergraduate students. Rutgers awards more graduate degrees than almost any other university in the country, including degrees in its highly ranked School of Education. There are more than 700 student organizations and clubs at Rutgers and a sizeable portion of the student body is involved with the 70 fraternities and sororities on campus.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights compete at the Division I level and recently joined the Big 10 Conference. As the “birthplace of college football,” the football team has returned to prominence in recent years.

Notable alumni and attendees include Nobel laureate and honorary doctorate Toni Morrison, NFL player Ray Rice, and former Geico CEO John “Jack” Byrne Jr.
