The University of Memphis is comprised of 13 schools and colleges, offering a variety of different academic pursuits to its 17,000 undergraduates; Memphis is also home to the highly-ranked School of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and the FedEx Institute of Technology. There are more than 70 recognized clubs on campus for students to participate in –Memphis recognizes 25 chapters of Greek life. The University also retains very close ties with the city of Memphis and its community, providing students with an ample amount of internship and networking opportunities.

The Memphis Tigers compete at the Division I level in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). The men’s basketball team is a perennial powerhouse and has reached the NCAA championship game twice.
